Instructions to Update MoneyFinder 1.0 to MoneyFinder 1.1 (for customers already upgraded to MoneyFinder 1.0 ONLY) IMPORTANT NOTE: The previous MoneyFinder 1.0 Upgrade was released with an faulty auto-update feature, causing auto updates to MoneyFinder 1.1 to fail. Customers already running MoneyFinder 1.0 must manually replace the MoneyFinder.exe on all workstations prior to updating to MoneyFinder 1.1. If you are still running MedEase on your network, you can directly update to MoneyFinder 1.1 using the MedEase to MOneyFinder 1.1 update and avoid this issue. *Network Installations - Disconnect all users from the DATA folder before upgrading MoneyFinder* MoneyFinder 1.0 to MoneyFinder 1.1 Upgrade 1. Go to the MoneyFinder Download Page http://www.provider-advantage.com/products_moneyfinder.htm 2. Before deploying MoneyFinder 1.1 Update, replace MoneyFinder.exe on all existing MoneyFinder 1.0 workstations with a replacement MoneyFinder executable: http://www.provider-advantage.com/MoneyFinder-download/MoneyFinder.exe 3. Click the link to download the MoneyFinder 1.0 to MoneyFinder 1.1 Update. http://www.provider-advantage.com/MoneyFinder-download/MoneyFinder1.1_Update.exe 4. Save MoneyFinder1.1_Update.exe to the MoneyFinder DATA folder Normally C:\MedEase\DATA\ or c:\Program Files\MoneyFinder\DATA\ 5. Double-Click MoneyFinder1.1_Update.exe 6. MoneyFinder UCenter (the upgrade utility) will extract all files and update MoneyFinder automatically. 7. Wait for extraction to complete. 8. Once completed, MoneyFinder will close itself, auto update, and relaunch. If it does not, click “Terminate Now” on the Upgrade window. 9. After the Wizard is complete, MoneyFinder will relaunch showing MoneyFinder 1.1 on the splash screen 10. Reconnect any disconnected users/network shares 11. Run MoneyFinder.exe on each workstation to complete the upgrade from MoneyFinder 1.0 to MoneyFinder 1.1. A reboot is recommended, but not required. 12. Call Provider Advantage Customer Support at (800) 337-5482, ext. 1, 1 to report any issues after rebooting.
