To Install MoneyFinder 1.1 in silent mode on a new workstation via MSI install package and batch file: PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY BEFORE ATTEMPTING INSTALL MONEYFINDER *Network Installations - if installing a new MoneyFinder workstation on an existing network installation of MedEase, be sure to upgrade MedEase to MoneyFinder for existing workstations before installing the new workstation* 1. Go to the MoneyFinder Download Page http://www.provider-advantage.com/products_moneyfinder.htm 2. Click the link to download the MoneyFinder 1.1 Install package. http://www.provider-advantage.com/MoneyFinder-download/MoneyFinder1.1_Install.msi 3. Save MoneyFinder1.1_New_Install.msi to the local computer. It is recommended this file be saved to C:\ for default installation 4. Click the link to download the MoneyFinder 1.1 Zipped Silent Install Batch File . http://www.provider-advantage.com/MoneyFinder-download/MoneyFinder1.1_Install.zip 5. Unzip MoneyFinder1.1_Install.zip to the local computer It is recommended this file be saved to C:\ for default installation 6. Right-click and edit MoneyFinder1.1_Install.bat to configure settings (See Below) To install MoneyFinder with the default configuration, save the Batch and MSI files to the C:\ Drive before launching the batch file. 7. Save changes to MoneyFinder1.1_Install.bat 8. Launch MoneyFinder1.1_New_Install.bat 9. MoneyFinder Setup will extract all files and begin to silently install MoneyFinder automatically. This may take up to 5 minutes depending on the speed of your computer. 10. Wait for MoneyFinder to Auto-launch after install or locate and double-click the MoneyFinder.exe if you did not select auto launch in the batch file 11. If prompted, contact Provider Advantage Customer Solutions at (800) 337-5482, ext. 1, 1 for a MoneyFinder Install Code and Terminal ID. 12. Complete the MoneyFinder setup process (including Provider # & Payer setup). 13. ContactProvider Advantage Customer Solutions to report any problems or issues with the install process. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- MoneyFinder Silent Install uses a batch file to set default parameters for installation. You will need to update the batch file configuration before deploying for the following custom install parameters. If you do not set these values, the batch file defaults to a standard implementation, and will not install unless it can locate the MSI package. SOURCEPATH: Location of MSI for deployment (recommend network path) TARGETDIR: Location for MoneyFinder Installation (on local workstation) DATABASEDIR: Location of MoneyFinder DATA Folder (network location) IPCDIR: Location of MoneyFinder IPC Folder (network location) MCOMPLUSDIR: : Location of MComPlus installation (network location) LAUNCHMCOMPLUS: Launch MComPlus Setting - True or False (local workstation only) INSTALLDB: Install Database - True or False - invokes separate installer imbedded in MSI Only set True for single workstation, or for first workstation install in a network deployment LAUNCHMONEYFINDER: True or False - Launch MoneyFinder after install – to create desktop and start menu shortcuts. This install package also supports UNC and mapped drive pathways. As Microsoft does not support UNC pathways in batch files, MoneyFinder does a string replace to represent a space in the pathway. Instead of using a space (“ ”), please replace with @20 in the batch file ("@20"). The installer will then overwrite these values with the appropriate pathway.
